That's true. But be mindful that, if in your stock, both values (for example Capitalised and NEW) exist, then when you consume the CAPITALISED one, you will not be COSTED! For the maintenance costing or FINANCE perspective, this might not be something acceptable: I might want to see every detail, every cost no matter whether I am using CAPITALISED spares or not. Well, in this scenario that's not possible as the cost of Capital Spare will be 0. This issue might be negligible but must be discussed with business.
