Humbly disagree with this bit. As per SAP doco they must be unique to each system. This is exactly the scenario why prefix numbers exist and where they *should* be different to avoid any possibility of conflict now or in future.
Overall I agree with the sentiment to just rebuild the template. Transport the ABAP stuff by all means.
