Automate data creation between PLM and PP

Dear experts,

I contact you to get some advices on master data creation for PP : material, production BOM and routing.

Indeed, my objective is to automate data creation between a PLM tool (out of SAP) and SAP PP : basically, 90% of data
would be created in PLM tool and then transfered into SAP via interface.

I am looking for your advices on the best practices to implement such process :

What should be considered on both sides (PLM+PP) to run proper interface ?

What are your watch out in term of troubleshooting ?

Any experience or learning you can share ?

All kind of tips / advices / recommendations / warnings…
