MRP elements are always displayed on MD04 with decimal places when they exist, despite the unit of measure settings. See question 2 of the FAQ note for more details.
On a production order, however, the requirement quantity is rounded up, considering the unit of measure settings from transaction CUNI, in order to avoid shortages.
Therefore, if you want to display the production order reservation with decimal places, you must ensure that decimal places are allowed for the unit of measure on CUNI.
