Hi Thomas,
As you are getting the issue after upgrading to 740 , there might be some configuration errors which might be causing this issue.
You must run supportdesk tool as per note 937697.
Please check the result of supportdesk and if you see any RED entries or UNDEFINED signal , you must correct them.
Please also make sure you RESTART your Java Portal server again.
After that recheck the issue again.
