There are many things required for the backend functionlity of this application. Which are present only in EHP7 only. For example, to make this application work we need to switch on the business function "FIN_TRAVEL_4" which is not present in EHP5 itself.
If only travel request is enough, you can use My Travel Requests - SAP Fiori principal apps 1.0 for SAP ERP - SAP Library this application.
