After you publish a report, do the following:
1. Log in to the CMC.
2. Under Folders, go to the report that was just published.
3. Right-click on the report and select "Database Configuration".
4. Select "Use custom database logon information specified here."
5. Configure the logon to use the common user id and password.
6. Save and close.
7. If this is the first time a report has been published, or for any existing reports in your system, right-click on the report and go to "Refresh Options".
8. Uncheck "Default database logon information".
9. Update and close.
The last three steps will keep the custom logon information from being overwritten when the report is updated and re-published.
