very difficult to say from here. If it is a standard workflow, there is a chance SAP has changed the code to not populate &ET_EMAIL_LIST& and instead of populating the new parameter which you are referring to. If its a custom one, then surely something has changed as upgrade does not normally touch the custom objects.
