DS migration

Hi All,

we are migrating 3.2 (Version: 12.2.3.0 ) to 4.2 (Version: 14.2.5.800 ).

we are already running on 3.2 DS on our old servers and DB, new 4.2 DS is successfully installed on the new servers and New DB has been created for this.

Now I want to move all my data from old 3.2 to 4.2. What is the best approach? i already have this link

But, i am confused to use this best practice, it says to upgrade the repository from 3.2 to 4.2 with upgrade option. We are running 3.2 and 4.2 on different servers? weather this option works?

can I use job export and job import option from 3.2 to 4.2 for this approach?

exporting each job one by one from my 3.2 and importing each job to 4.2? is this approach is a best practice. I see in the link it says it is not a good approach for export and import.

any suggestions?
