Thanks for the response. I looked in the sample app in the KB article you pointed me to.  Our connection update code is similar to what is in the ReplaceConnection() method.  There are some minor differences in our implementation.  We're not setting as many connection property attributes as the sample code, but that has never been a problem in the past.  The biggest difference I can see is we are using ReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.SetTableLocationEx() and the sample code is using ReportClientDocument.DatabaseController.SetTableLocation().  I wouldn't think those differences would have much impact, but I'll experiment with changing our code to be more similar to the sample app.
