Re: BTE 1030 - we use for AP documents, create an event that triggers a workflow

I have verified that the business transaction event 1030 does not get triggered when AP documents are posted using function module BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST, by ading some code to capture document numbers in the custom FM that gets triggered when BTE 1030 is executed..

My understanding is that this function module is doing a direct posting, versus a BDC or Call Transaction method. It seems that the direct posting does not trigger that business transaction event, 1030.

Is anyone aware of any other business transaction event, or some other mechanism, that can be used, after the document number has been created, but just before the document is actually committed to the database when posting using FM BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST?
