Thanks for the reply.

Initially even I did also assumed the same, regarding the hierarchy structure. But when I checked out the hierarchical view for the dimension members, I got confused.For Eg. In the above Time Dimension You have provided, I understood as below for how it had been designed. but when I saw the dimension structure only parenth1 was present.

Probably I should have asked the question as the importance of hierarchical design and how it needs to designed.

         2015.01 --> Parenth2
